Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

 

About the PTO

PREP's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity comprised of an active and dedicated group of parent and teacher volunteers who work tirelessly in support of the school and its educational mission. The PTO raises funds primary through its annual Spring Fling and Silent Auction, PREPWinterfest, and PREP/FSK Scramble for the Arts Golf Tournament. Among other things, the funds raised by the PTO support arts integration, physical education, technology and school beautification projects at PREP.

The PTO meets on the first Thursday of each month during the school year. The board is comprised of a President (elected to a two-year term), Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer (each elected annually).  

The work of the PTO is accomplished through the following committees of parent and teacher volunteers:

  • Spring Fling Committee

  • PREPWinterfest Committee

  • Golf Tournament Committee

  • Marketing Committee

  • Grants Committee

  • Events Committee

  • Parking Committee

  • Green and Grounds Committee
