Top Rated and Accredited Early Childhood Programs

PREP’s early childhood programs are proud to have earned the Maryland Accreditation for Excellence in Care and Education from the Maryland Department of Education. Through the rigorous accreditation process, our school demonstrated our early childhood programs’ effectiveness and continuous improvement using research-based measurement tools.

We’ve also earned a Level 5 quality rating—the highest possible—from Maryland EXCELS, the state’s quality rating and improvement system for licensed child care and early education programs that meet nationally recognized quality standards.

To earn this rating, our school showcased excellence in 5 critical areas: staffing and professional development, accreditation and program improvement, developmentally appropriate practices, compliance with child care licensing regulations, and administrative policies and practices.

Children with developmental delays who need more intensive specialized instruction learn in a separate classroom for most of the day. It is a highly structured, routines-based classroom that uses a multi-sensory approach to learning and gives children many opportunities to practice new skills.

REGISTRATION

Students may be placed in the program if they are being serviced under an IFSP or IEP, or they may register for the Let’s Grow program as a typically developing peer.
